21 children joined the Mully Childrens Family yesterday having been rescued from the streets. This happened after a successful international commemoration of street children that took place in Matuu town, Yatta sub-county in Machakos County. The event was organized by the Mully Children’s Family together with other partners in the region. Street kids and families from Matuu town had a fun time on a day that is meant to sensitize the public about the rights of street children which have over the years been ignored. The children were served with food and drinks from MCF. They also had a chance to mingle and play with fellow children from MCF Ndalani, who motivated them through chit chats as some of them came from the streets too. There is always hope and a bright future even for those who are abandoned and forgotten in our societies today, that is what we at MCF believe in.
