Peace unto you!
It is with thanks giving and much joy that I write this prayer letter to you. Please accept my most sincere gratitude and appreciation for your continued prayers and support which has gone a long way in blessing and changing the lives of many children who have called MCF their home, over the years.
The children and entire MCF fraternity are full of joy for God’s provisions and protection upon us. We celebrate God’s guidance and abundance and we wish to call upon you to join us as we give thanks to God for this far we have come! His mercies endure forever.
We have just arrived safely in Germany for our daughter’s wedding, with all of my family including 14 members of the MCF mission team and have been well received by Christoph Guggemos’s family in Rieden.
Please join us in prayer for the following:-
1. Thank God for whom He is to MCF and the mighty things He has predestined for MCF now and in the years to come.
2. Thank God for the wedding of one of our daughters, Mueni, which will be held in Germany on the 7th of August 2010. Pray for God’s protection and provision towards planning and all other expenses to enable my biological family and the bigger family represented by the MCF Mission Choir to travel across Germany, where they will not only represent the entire MCF fraternity in the wedding but will also be engaged in various presentations through gospel songs, testimonies, acrobats and dancing. This is through invitation by friends and prayer partners. This will enable more people to learn about the plight of street children and other children in need. Please pray for the success of the wedding ceremony and the tour across Germany.
3. We thank God for the visitors who continue to visit with us and learn about our ministry. Their presence is highly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming more friends in the years to come.
4. We thank God that the children have completed the second term successfully. Pray for them as they take a one week’s rest that God will keep them well and that the extra-curriculum and holiday bible study program will result in character building and growth.
5. We thank God for the growth, progress and good yield from our agricultural projects. Thank God for good rains which were experienced at the beginning of the year thus resulting in good yield and the filling of all our dams with much needed water.
6.Pray for financial provision for the ongoing MCF projects as well as the upcoming ones. Please pray for more friendships and partnerships and that we will have trusted and competent members of staff to manage and handle the projects.
7.Pray for all MCF Branches. (Isaiah 58:11: The LORD will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail).
8. Pray for the different MCF support staff and volunteers working in different areas to better the lives of the children. Pray for protection and God’s provision upon their families.
9. Pray for our country Kenya during this delicate phase of constitution making. Pray that peace, love and unity shall prevail in the country.
10. Thanks giving for my wife and I, and pray that God grants us wisdom, revelation and favor as we continue serving Him.
May the peace of the Lord be with you and your family.
