Mully Children’s Family held a staff induction meeting for two days on 28th and 29th of April 2011 at MCF Yatta. This was the first staff induction training in 2011 which addressed the issues of attitude and service delivery. The facilitators were drawn from the head office programmes department who meticulously took the staff members through various topics.
The training, which aimed at equipping the staff with the necessary skills for promotion of best practices within MCF, addressed such topics as improvement of productivity, working relations among staff members, employer and employee relations, handling of children, child protection, reintegration of children, stigmatization as well as leadership and mentorship among others.
The speakers emphasized on the vision and mission of MCF to make it a better place and for the achievement of the set goals and objectives for the betterment and transformation of the children’s lives. The two day workshop ended successfully where certificates would be issued to the participants later in the year after attending a second induction training.
Mully Children’s Family has been holding staff induction trainings over the years in a bid to equip the staff with skills that enhance their effectiveness in handling the children under the care of MCF and therefore mould them to become better individuals.
We look forward to having more of these trainings and thus having better qualified and equipped staff who will effectively handle the children and help in the transformation of their lives.
