It is yet a new term for MCF schools. Children under MCF umbrella are back to class for the third and final term in the year. The term which began early in August is set to run till end of this year. The opening of the new term follows a two weeks break where the children had time to relax and play. The cool weather has not affected them adversely and they have been in good health, thanks be to God. We ask for prayers that the children will progress on with the new term smoothly till its completion.
MCF schools have maintained an impressive academic performance over the years. They have triumphed over their peers in the national exams scooping a majority of the trophies. In this year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, the candidates are expected to perform excellently after they have been adequately prepared by their teachers.
Mully Children’s Family has witnessed more than 100 candidates qualifying for admission into public universities to pursue various degree courses with hundreds of others joining middle level colleges to study diploma as well as certificate courses. MCF’s vocational training centre at Yatta has also been involved in technical/vocational training in various trades including tailoring, dress making, hair dressing, beauty therapy, carpentry, masonry, missiology, entrepreneurship, welding and cookery among others. The graduates have become self employed and dependable individuals in the society.
Mully University is in the offing. Mully Children’s Family looks forward to establishing the Mully University to take higher educational training to a higher notch. This is an effort to equip our graduates with cutting edge skills necessary to make them competitive and dependable change agents in the society in tandem with changing global trends. We look forward to partnering with friends and well wishers to make this a reality for the benefit of the children of Kenya and Africa as a whole.
