Provides residential care and rehabilitation over 600 street children as well as orphaned and vulnerable children. It is 107km from Nairobi and located in Yatta District along Thika – Garissa Highway. The children access basic services including feeding, clothing, shelter, medical care, education and extra-curricular activities, spiritual development and counseling. Alongside other basic services accessed by children, the Home has an established Education department from Nursery school to Secondary school and presented candidates for primary school (KCPE) and secondary school (KCSE) national examinations since 1996 and 2000 respectively.
A medical centre has also been set up for both curative and preventive health care services for the children and the community. Agricultural projects for income generation and domestic use is carried out at MCF Ndalani through irrigation for sustainability of the care for the rescued children. Though located in a semi-arid region of Kenya, this centre has become an international model of sustainability through the use of river water for horticultural production. A successful environmental development program has been implemented.
